Devon has been a professional actor and dancer for the last 20 years. As a former competitive dancer he held the title DMA (Dance Masters America) Mr. Dance of Canada, and runner up DMA Mr. Dance of America. As the winner of such titles, he is continually invited to judge dance competitions throughout North America. As a teenager Devon was a principle dancer with a Ballet company in Berlin, Germany. His other international theatre credits include Mr. Mistoffelees in the German Production of Cats; the National Tour of the Broadway hit Mamma Mia!; the U.S. National Tour of Fame: The Musical; and Nights on Broadway 3 (choreographed by AC Ciulla) at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City. In Canada he has performed at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival and The Shaw Festival, where credits include: Lope de Vega’s classic Fuente Ovejuna; West Side Story (Snowboy, Arab, and Riff); Susan H. Schulman’s critically acclaimed The Music Man; J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan (Michael Darling); Mack and Mabel (Buster Keaton); Hotel Peccadillo (Ernest); Gypsy (Angie); Six Characters in Search of an Author (The Boy); Overlaid (Jimmy); Happy End; and the North American premiere of Lord of the Flies (Perceval). He originated the role of Thaddeus Maillet in the musical Pelagie for The Canadian Stage Company and The National Arts Centre. Television and Film credits include: Road to Avonlea (CBC); Rec Room (YTV); and JFK: Reckless Youth (ABC mini-series). Devon compleated a successful run as Mr. Mistofolees in the Toronto production of CATS. Currently He is performing in the US National Tour of The Wizard of Oz. Also a professional cake designer, he is founder and creator of Devonilla Cakes.
